Yeah that would probably be about right. I saw a similar car (Ego BF XR6 with Low Kays) in Canberra but it had been trashed, go for 18K, big scrathes/scuffs over multiple panels and gearbox problems. Funny they didnt mention the gearbox problem until the auction, no mention of it at all in the conditon report.

This is the thing that most worries me about this car, as its an auction I cannot test drive it before buying it. And by the look of the condition report they are quite lazy as to what goes on it or stays off it.......

Went out today to try and get the engine and vin numbers but they were cleaning it behind a fence, once cleaned it looked quite good, but I spose im in a good position as ive seen it in the state that the previous owner had left it though.....

Nice work mate, now get cracking with the mods! :dontknow:

Yeah I will be, I already have a list.....

1. Injectors (Siemens Deka)

2. Fuel pump (walbro)

3. Intercooler (rapids high flow v2 kit/or v3??. in black)

4. Cat 3.5 inch/Exhaust (complete 3inch or 3.5?? , with straight through muffler)

5. Edit

Sounds ok everybody???

And was also wondering when I buy these mods should they be installed or wait until the tune??

I live in Hobart and would have to drive to Melbourne for a tune.......

Are any of these mods safe to do with out a tune, realistically???

Nice. The cooler will be ok to fit, just keep an eye on the boost (so fit a boost gauge if you can) but it shouldn't overboost with the stock exhaust.

Go 3.5" for the exhaust as a 3" isn't really any better than the stock one.

The cat, injectors and fuel pump are best fitted when the tune gets done, as all these things on a stock tune will make your car die!

Thanks Senna,

Will be doing the 3.5 exhaust, do you recommend a brand or just a custom??

Do you have to cut any metal for the intercooler and the under battery induction, or should I be asking Chris at Rapid hmmm??

X-Force are pretty popular for their exhaust systems as they are generally a straight bolt up unit. If you know a good exhaust shop I'm sure they can help you out also.

With the Rapid cooler there is a littel bit of trimming involved, but it really is only small
