Got to remember that wheels and motor don't have the sticky take off area like the drag strip does. The normally do their testing on the pit straight or some other piece of straight track/road. There is no way anyone will match their drag strip time on the street as the grip is not comparable.

Rubbish, they quite often test on the drag strip.

Why is it we don't see any of the General's products ripping down the strip faster than the Wheels/Motor times?

Why is it that the magazine in NZ shows the FG GT out acellerated the Clubby, on the same surface as each other?

I'd expect a tenth or two difference, not the discrepancies we consistantly see.

wheel and motor are a strange group in my opnion.

They seem to go through moods when it comes to which marque they support at the time.

Would be nice to see a cover of Motor that doesnt have a Expensive Daewoo sprawlled across its front page!!!

What times did the GT record in NZ? can it manage mid 13's?

It was posted in this forum somewhere. It was 0-100 times and they were a few tenths quicker than the HSV. From memory they were areounf the 5.3 mark.
