Is there a thread on the difference between the BA and the BF? That is, was there any difference in the motor, brakes, ect. Also what difference is there between the BF and BFII? If there is a thread on this could someone link it for me or tell me what to type in the search box. It would be much appreciated.

What year did BF MKII come out? I heard something about different valve springs in the motor as well, is that correct?

What year did BF MKII come out? I heard something about different valve springs in the motor as well, is that correct?I'm pretty sure BFII's are late 06 dated mate; if I'm wrong someone will definately correct me!! As for valve springs, in your later model falcons I dont think they're as much of an issue as in the BAMK1's and II's. Although, going through some threads people with BAMK2 standard valve springs are pulling good power and some aren't. Long short of it all, its a worth while mod because you cant tell if you need them or not until you start tuning and they've come down alot in price lately as well! Hope this helps:)
Joshy Member 15 Member For: 18y 29d Posted 10/09/08 06:48 AM Share Posted 10/09/08 06:48 AM (edited) There was also a massive increase in power from BA MKII to BF... a WHOPPING 5kW... not sure on torque figures though without looking them up. Then you got all the little interior/exterior differences like the led taillights, satin chrome door insert pieces, dash cluster change, etc...I think it went...BA MKI - OCT 2002 To OCT 2004BA MKII - OCT 2004 TO SEPT 2005BF MKI - SEPT 2005 TO OCT 2006BF MKII - OCT 2006 - JUNE 2008 OR somewhere thereabouts....Were the PBR brakes on BA series bigger or smaller than the standard BF brakes? The bf series 2 does not have this, but maybe because the ba was a premo pack, vs our bf povo pack. I know that this is a huge difference.
