interestingly enough, today in doing some research, I came across a company who makes Ball Cages and inner knuckles for our BA CV's..

This is the 2 major components that break, the inner knuckle gets a crack in it, opens up and chews the spline out.

the ball cage breaks, and drops all the ball bearings..

Will keep ya's posted when I get my set!

I ended up getting a full reund from CBC.

They agreed that they shouldn't break there.

My car still isn't going, I'm waiting for a set to be finished.

Was supposd to be today but....... I haven't heard from him!!!

I guess there's always tomorrow, (been saying that for the last 5 weeks).

how did you get the broken spline out? remove the other cv and push it from the other side??

Yes, I pulled the diff centre out and used a pin punch from the other side to push it out

I wanted to be able to clean any schrapnel out as well and the only way to do that was to remove the centre. It also made it easier to remove the broken piece.

That's what Nizpro do. Replace them with chrome moly ones.

Manual. Was 392rwkw but I've put an eboost in and I haven't had it retuned.

Running slightly less boost till then.

:gfight: Went to put my new CV in last night with the help of some mate - after swearing for a little while getting the busted one out I un did the packaging and found out that Ford had put the wrong CV in the box!

The part no. on the box is correct (passenger or LHS) but the actual part in thedre is the bloody RHS!!! :gooff:

No chance of a changeover until Tuesday now... My tuner has a dyno day on today so I was going to head down and give it a run, now that I found out there hasn't been anyhting on there running over 200rwkw I'm really pissed! haha - stupid skylines with their stock turbos!
