They are dropped and thrown regularly and will only ever give ball park figures. Go get yourself one that has a metal body and analog guage readout. Why does Ford suggest such low tyre pressures? Are they expecting us to come back and buy tyres of them.I.B.

Some tyres require more psi than others some less, sidewall construction plays a part, although I'm talking about general road driving and comfort, not race track use or for ultimate tread wear... I wouldn't use a servo tyre pump in a million years there just to dodgy .As silly as this may sound I have found the best way to keep all your tyres at the wright pressure is to use a good quality track floor standing bicycle pump . Takes a bit of work the first time to get them up to pressure but when they are you only need to have a look at them every couple of weeks . It only takes a 2/3mins and they are very accurate .
