As I pulled up at work this morning ( about 6am 26/7) I noticed a BA XR6 in Narooma Blue with roof Racks parked near my office. I remembered that it belonged to someone who posts on here but still can't recall who

Well done Bazza, good job mate :o

BTW it wasn't my car as I don't run roof racks and I don't think Pysch runs roof racks either!

I wonder why I only park in civic when I have to.

Thanks for the praise guy's,

I have no doubt that everyone of you would do the same thing regardless of who's or what type of car it was.

Cheers, Bazza.

Don't understate your actions Bazza, it does take guts to front losers like this, others might have just called the cops, but by the time they arrived it would be all over, so well done. I just won't park my "T" in dodgy car parks at night, or even during the day sometimes, I'd rather cab it, get dropped off by family or friends or even take the god dam BUS!! I know its a pain but I've been through the "damage and theft in car park thing" and know this is far more of a pain.

The owner of the XR6 must have a good reason for leaving it there as it is still there this morning, covered in frost and in exactly the same spot so I'm sure it hasn't moved since Friday night!!!!

I'll check it out later but unfortunatly there's not much more I can do to protect it :(

Well done Bazza!

l think you were more brave than you are letting on, and the owner of that T has no idea how lucky they are.

I totally disagree with you Bazza ... there are very few people who would have done what you did.

It takes real character and courage to face the unknown like that and you have a big :spacecraft: from me.

Well Done!

Well done mate

Looks like I'll never park there again, I was parked across from Sydney building on Saturday night...

You done the right thing Bazza, cops probably wouldn't of bothered coming. A couple of years ago my car (then XF Falcon) was broken into and CD stereo system stolen and then about a week later I came home late about 11pm to see some guys lurking about in the shadows obviously up to no good. I rang the cops and they weren't interested, said to ring back if/when they steal/break & enter. I told them that my car was done over the week before but they still weren't interested. Sorry, not trying to turn this into a cop bashing thread, just get fustrated at the lack of action from them sometimes but they always seem to be around when you are doing 5km/h over the speed limit on a freeway or similar.

The only places I park in CIVIC are in the carparks infront of the courts next to the cop shop etc and in the multi storie car parks at the Canberra centre and on a big night out in a friends parking space in some appartments that are locked and secure ;) . If I have to park somewhere else I make sure that it's near alot of traffic (pedestrian or otherwise) and not in a corner where no one can see it..

The car in question was parked in the carpark adjacent to the ACT Legislative Assembly and opposite ACTEWAGL.

I know of a lot of people who"s cars have been broken into in this carpark as well as the one further around towards the Hyatt,

I don't think I would park my car anywhere in Civic on Fri/Sat nights as I have had a couple of my fleet vehicles damaged in the Assembly parking where there is good lighting as well as signs clearly showing the use of security camera's in the area, but I guess these clowns can't read or just don't give a stuff.

Cheers, Bazza.
