I had stripes on my typhoon when I got it.. it did grow on me but after a while I took them off and I think the car looks a hell of a lot better with out them, but each to his own. take a photo of your car and stick it in photoshop or paint and see what it looks like and go from there. that's how I decided to take mine off. I like the white stripes on the blue not the silver.
