Im liking the idea of there wax being able to be applied in layers. Once my Mini goes into its bubble im going to give it a complete going over and was considering giving there products a go.http://www.zainobros.com.au/ Edited 07/09/08 12:20 PM by hanra Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49474-zaino/ Share on other sites

Anyway this is the process I went thruWashed the carDried itClaybar itWashed itDid 2 coats of Z5Did 3 coats of Z2Finished up with Z6I got friendly with the guys at http://www.carcareproducts.com.au as was considering on finishing with the Zaino CS product but persudaed me to try this one, basically same as CS but nearly half the price.http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/optimum/opti_sealThis way I just need to apply the Opti seal once every 4-6mths and I'm done.Bottom line the Zaino stuff is great. You may want to check this thread out as well.http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...c=48592&hl=Cheers,Vic Edited 08/09/08 03:07 AM by spic Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49474-zaino/#findComment-729997 Share on other sites

Dream Machines Member 54 Member For: 18y 10m 27d Posted 10/09/08 07:14 AM Share Posted 10/09/08 07:14 AM Zaino is definately one of the better amino functional resin based sealant systems, though I've been told that it has problems with water spotting on occasionsEight months is around about the durability time that some friends have indicatedI am about to test Z8 against Aussie Gold Showroom sealer glaze spray, Prima Slick, Duragloss 923 and Driven Quick spray concentrateI still believe that prepping the paint with clay bar, detox (deep cleaner that brings natural colour back and reverses porousness and oxidation) without abrasives and then either Glare or Menzerna polishes before using Zaino, is more beneficial as you will have a water like slick feeling paint finish with perfect mirror image reflections even before the Zaino will be applied and that should enrich the paint moreBut for those who won't spend or don't have the time to do all that, Zaino is fantasticFor the market it was made for, which are enthusiasts who want to aply a few products and get a great shine, it is great.I don't use it as I am more into using GLARE non abrasive systems to bury orange peel and provide the shine or a combo of Menzerna and other polishes to get as close as possible to new paint job and show car perfect finish before any sealant goes on the car.Sealant and wax are just the icing on the cake, I am a big fan of the Glare finish line. The new Advanced is an amazing sealant and all surface gloss enhancer Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49474-zaino/#findComment-731350 Share on other sites
