post-63672-0-07865800-1418299921_thumb.j Grabbed this tiny one off ebay. $40 something delivered. Gave it a coat of satin black to get rid of what ever gay brand is on it. Filled it with steel wool and all good. My car did not need it so far ( zero oil ) after 2000 kms and yes it has hoses connected now

^^^^ you may want To remove the steel wool and put some scourer instead, as per a few posts before in one of the pictures.

I'm going to run a closed catch can with -6 braided lines on the PCV.

I was looking at where the original line come into the Inlet manifold and had a couple of questions.

Pic of line coming into manifold.

Because I'm going to be running -6 lines I'm working out how to plumb it into the manifold.

So first question.

Is the elbow threaded into manifold and any idea on size of thread to fit?

There is a line teeing off as seen in pic just before manifold, any idea what this is?

I'm thinking I cut the original line just before tee piece and plumb -6 line into it, with a barb type fitting.

Or running the -6 all the way to manifold reducing at the manifold to fit.

If going this way I'll need a tee piece and adapters for the branch off line.

Interested to see how others might have plumbed there closed catch cans on the PCV using different size hose.

I'm not sure if that plastic right angle into the manifold is threaded or not as it's in such a cnt of a spot that normal hands won't fit! The spare line I believe either runs to the fuel tank or something on the passenger side right near the firewall?

As for plumbing I simply connected mine to the piece that was removed from the pcv and stuck it inline. Maybe if your going to the trouble of -6 then remove that right angle and tap a bigger hole?

Spot on about the position!

Was hoping to find a cross over to match the thread size of manifold inlet.

Similar to this.

And then a -6 tee piece with a barb to much the branch off line.
