I have checked the catch can between the PCV and the intake manifold and there is a bit in there though.

I have a cheap paper fuel filter on the front breather and there is lucky to be a quarter of a teaspoon after maybe 5k km's.If I ever get time and remember I will drop the oil from the rear breather catch can to see whats in there but going off what the runners looked like before I put it on then there should be a decent amount inside.I run anywhere from 16-20psi also. FORDCRAZY Member 36 Member For: 13y 8m 7d Posted 18/02/12 04:59 PM Share Posted 18/02/12 04:59 PM Great write up. Now from what Ive read here the rear pcv is the culprit for oil in the intake system. I've been running a catch can for the front rocker cover line (and I can say that with 5-10k km ther is. Bugger all oil in the can). So would it be best to change my setup by; plugging the hole on crossover, and putting filter breather on rocker cover. Then use my catch can for the rear pcv/intake manifold??P.s I fitted my can on the factory air box. Quick and easy. Very concealed. I've used black hoses and if I paint the can black, most ppl won't even spot it. Can post pic if anyone interested.

So many variables though but unless its chewing through oil I wouldn't worry!

I've seen heaps on ebay going for $30 - $150.Is there a particular brand or style that's more suited for our cars?
