XR68UZ XR68UZ Donating Members 732 Member For: 18y 10m 8d Location: Sydney Posted 04/05/06 03:21 AM Share Posted 04/05/06 03:21 AM I asked the service guy about getting a TT a while ago. he said its not necessary for the xr's as we have a ball bearing turbo (whereas the r33 has a ceramic turbo), and even if we turn out engines off, it still gets lubricated, where the r33 contracts (hence the need for the tt).he also said its better to be safe then sorry, and recommended I leave it for about 2 minutes if ive been pushing it.
