I would imagine that for some reason the timer is causing a low voltage feed on one of the ign outputs causing this, can you send or post a pic of and explanation of how you wired it I may be able to help ya dude

Turbo timers and fordxr6turbo.com just don't mix. It should be on the deleted list.

I dont see why it should, they are a good idea for those who really cbf letting their car cool down just after they've flogged the nuts off it.

personally I just idle mine for a bit if I've upped it not too long before.

You people realize that the FG turbos have a default turbo timer. if the motor temp is hi when you switch the ignition off then the thermo fan stays on untill it cools down to a reasonable temp. Ive had mine stay on form as long as 10 second to over half a minute after Ive got out and locked the car. Had one bloke come up behind me once to tell me that I had left my motor running.

and how is that a 'turbo timer?' me ma's vectra had the same thing, and there ain't no snailshell in there!

'
