Put it in an enclosed space - like the garage and yep, you can smell it.

Guest Guests Posted 30/11/03 08:48 PM Share Posted 30/11/03 08:48 PM Why dont you pop the bonnet open to let her cool. My XY gets parked in a shed, come back 6hours later and you can still feel the warmth,so I know what you saying.vik

Trumpy What's happening? Lifetime Members 1,605 Member For: 22y 3m 9d Gender: Male Location: Steel City, NSW Posted 01/12/03 12:48 AM Share Posted 01/12/03 12:48 AM I agree with this method as well. I usually pop the bonnet catch when I park it in the garage after a long run, just to let the heat out. Plus it means the garage can double as a sauna, adding versatility to Casa del Trumpy. Guest HocuSChrisT Guests Posted 05/12/03 09:06 AM Share Posted 05/12/03 09:06 AM :o The topic has been raised before, found it on a search. However. I am being told by a performance shop that they should be installed on a stock XR6 Turbo. After reading this topic I found, and thinking about it myself, (in limited knowledge), I came to the conclusion that they aren't needed, am I wrong? If they were, Ford/FPV would have fitted them?
