If a plane is on a conveyor belt, and the belt moves in the direction opposite to the plane’s travel at an equal and opposing speed - will the plane take off?

:spoton::roflmbo: No hope, no way will it take off.

Do you think otherwise?

Hmmmmm after thinking long and hard about it, your question was probably a rhetorical one such as "Does a brown bear sh1t in the forest?"...etc and because the answer to your question is clearly No, I'm guessing that was your answer to the original question of "do I need a turbo timer?"

PS, I need a holiday, brains hurting too much work :(

There are MANY threads on Timers, they are not needed.

Also the plane will take off as its thrust from the motors will overcome any friction caused by the treadmill.

If you do not agree, then you are too dumb. Search the 8+ pages of discussion.

I use to have a 200sx and the norm for all the people was to have was a turbo timer. Now I was wondering is it necessary to have one with the T's. has anyone fitted them to their vehicle.

This is thread about where to mount Turbo timers, not a debate on if they are required.

I was going to install the same one, but didn't. Anyway, I was gonna either put it on top of the steering column, or down in the tissue box holder

P.S. prepare for much flaming by people against turbo timers in xr's!

from memory the greddy one has a few other features like lap timing dont they? if you mount it up top, it will be easier to reach for the timer mode
