beauies Member 209 Member For: 21y 1m 26d Gender: Male Location: sydney Posted 22/08/04 12:06 AM Share Posted 22/08/04 12:06 AM so have u tried adding the central locking yourself? Next question if you did:- did you just connect a after market unit to the existing mechanism. so the after market module flicks the factory locking mechanism? igsta Member 371 Member For: 21y 1m 8d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 22/08/04 08:24 AM Share Posted 22/08/04 08:24 AM Can you lock the doors with the remote when the timer has finished. If so maybe you could install a relay or something to lock the doors themselves after the timer has counted down and swithched the engine off. Also an auto up power windows feature would be nice. Does any one use one?I have been told by a Ford sales person that you don;t need to run the turbo down?Conflicts with what I have heard about turbos for the last 10 years.ThanksSimon

The water at the top of the turbo boils and draws colder water through it. Pretty clever really So running the engine after would just keep the turbo hotter longer.
