Wright'y Member 226 Member For: 20y 11m 24d Gender: Male Location: Darwin, NT Posted 09/04/04 03:22 AM Share Posted 09/04/04 03:22 AM turbo timers are legal if it only works when the handbrake is on, that's what I have read, and you shouldnt really give it and then turn it off, if you can for the last two minutes or so before you turn your car off just drive with little revs as possible. this will help the turbo slow down, but if you turn the car off after you have just given it a flogging the turbo will still spin for a minute or two with out oil. its almost as bad as starting your car with no oil in it. so if you want your turbo bearings to last a long time, respect it.
