I might just leave it.

Anyone can come onto a forum and claim to know something, but not back it up. Whether you know or not, it's pointless claiming something without backing it up with facts.

Oh, by the way. The new GTHO is going to be a 600awkw Territory. I can't tell you how I know, but you're going to have to trust me.

What issue would a G6ET have that an XR6T wouldn't?

Will LSD induced sideways motion dislodge the reversing camera and cause the car to roll over and explode?

Or do the G6ETs come with Firestone tyres?

Again another 'without LSD all is lost' thread.

Seriously if you into chewing up $480 rear tyres in your daily drive then yes the G6ET isn't for you, because it may only do one at a time.

I just find it amusing how many people see this as a major flaw. Keep in mind you dont find LSD on many Porsche models either although it is at least an option. I guess it comes down to you driving expectations / style.

The usual statement - should Ford have at least made it an option? Absolutely. Does it really detract from the car, in my book, no it doesnt. Are they losing sales to holden? I doubt it, most people just by an XR with it's crappy leather if LSD is THAT important.

ps. I regularly find it stepping out from the lights with full throttle.

vfast, its not about just 'chewing up rear tyres'! I am no stupid hoon... I drive swiftly on challanging deserted roads every day and enjoy driving properly - not spinning an inside wheel.

The problem Ford have presented me with is that I want the luxury and class of the G6ET, but also some of the drivability of the XR6T (I.e. what LSD can provide!)... and given I cant afford an FPV GTE, and Ford making the silly mistake of not arranging for LSD to be an option in the G6ET, I would either have to live with luxury/class, knowing I cant have any fun in it or drive how I want, or settle for the crappy-interior'd XR range!

hence the best option was an older F6 with full FPV leather and sunroof now that they have become a second hand bargain! (not trying to turn this into a 'best value- second hand vs new' thread)

the customer should get what he desires... I want a G6ET with LSD (and a MANUAL gearbox - but that's another argument) dammit!

vfast you are right, the G6ET isnt for me... but is SHOULD be!
