Just make sure you take it easy in the last five minutes or so, and if the fans on when you're going to turn it off... don't!

Looks liek they have done some work in this area on the FG as the BF never did this.
Smoke them tyres Member 557 Member For: 16y 11m 9d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 14/09/08 10:36 AM Share Posted 14/09/08 10:36 AM The BF's can be made to have a "manual on" for the fans if you wish.........Solder a lead on each of the terminals for the 2 relay earths for fans (in engine bay junction box). Treat them as parallel circuits if you want them to work properly. Remove the front inner splash shield and run the 2 wires through there and into the cabin via the a-pillar grommet.Connect each "circuit" to a single throw dual pole switch. Connect the other end of the switch to earth. It won't work after the power is off, but at least you can stop the heat building up so much as you have them on in the last few K's before you leave the car. Good for traffic also.Maybe they didn't fit the FG style feature to the BF's as they can be hard on the battery????????
