SERIOUSLYuse one of the WA sponcers for your workthey Know these cars to a "T" ( pardon the pun hahhahahahahah)Get a flash tuner and a Tuners Custom tune and u wont know the carit will really transform it into a differnat vehicle. Then save your cash cause its addictive and so cheap!!!!!!!!!as for tyres, go for anything good!put some larger rims on and some low profile tyres will help the handleing.ENJOY

Brake fade and shudder ( especially when coming downhill) ) and a squeaky noise from the rear wheel ( sounds like the right side) when driving slowly. Didn't notice whatsoever on the original test drive. Any help from one of the regulars would be appreciated. My standard BA2 wagon has pig brakes as well....is this a common thing and if so maybe an upgrade is the go. Any recommendations, please. The faster you drive and harder you brake the worst the brake shudder will get. I'll be getting some DBA4000's and ferodo formula pads on my next day off soon so Ill let you know how they go. But from all account should get rid of the fade/shudder. Im getting mine from Wetherill Park

As I said, the car goes like a "blur" but just a bit concerned with the brakes. That bloody squeaky noise is a worry as well....I only seem to notice it when it is travelling less than 10k/h....maybe someone has an idea. LOL And to think I just spent my last hard earned bucks on my first ever Ford in my 30 years on the planet and the brakes shudder and the handbrake is cactus ! Actually, it seems to have the feel that maybe the handbrake even though it is fully down could be still engaging slightly when driving. Need some help in what to do boys. I had the same issue with my brakes, the best thing I ever did was gettting DBA slotterd rotors and Bendix Ultimate pads for the front, not more shudder and good braking. If you need a good tuner I use Tunehouse and they are also a site advertiser.

I am really new to these Falcon Turbo's...it is a whole new ball game for me after driving Commodore's ....I suppose after a while you get to know the car and can work most things out but until then, I will probably drive you guys crazy. I actually jumped into the neighbours BA Station Wagon this morning and his brake shudder was awful! Is this a common theme with BA brakes and would you need to upgrade them on the wagon just as mentioned with the Turbo? Ta Robbo
