I think the RTA E-Tag is the best.

You can use it in every sydney payway as well as Brisbane and Melbourne.

They whack your credit card when it gets low.

I have 6 of them and pay about $400 per month for my company cars.

None of them . I've got two service vehicles always on the road and August cost me $680 on my ROAM E TAG. This is one of my pet hates, paying this much when we are getting slugged from taxes (petrol excise and GST is Billions each year) and we still have to pay private companies to drive on the friken roads the Govt. should be building. I'll go have a cuppa and a good lie down now.

I know that roam e tag you can use on any toll rd or tunnel etc. in Australia if its any help.

thanks rta etag it is then , the whole reason ive never got one in the past is because its sh*ts me paying to use private roads after all isnt rego and fuel levy for roads but its got to the point in this city you cannot avoid it any longer either pay or get f*cked over in even more traffic than the private roads have its bullsh*t :censored:

don't get me wrong I am vigorously opposed to any road being tolled ,given the fuel excise, stamp duties,Rego's etc etc , need I go on.

Fact remains it's user pays. Sucks it large ,are you going to takea detour through clogged roads that are designed to force you onto toll roads in any case ??

nope just started a new job and realized it takes over 20 mins off my trip using the eastern distributor and cross city tunnel to get back to balmain in peak hour traffic so even though paying pisses me off its not as bad as sitting in extra traffic when I could be home watching tv or eating dinner

beep owns the cross city tunnel and ed.

roam owns the m7.

if you have problems roam wont accept beep over the phone and beep wont take roam over the phone.

this means you will have to fill in loads of paper work to get unpaid fines fixed.

my account was suspended for some reason and I got 22 fines in the mail and had a hard time fixing it up because I had the wrong tag.

I use the RTA one, what ever that is lol works all over here and melb, don't know about other states.

It does make me think about what routs and my timing during the day, 8.80 round trip plus 20 in petrol, plus my time... some days it better to just take the lap top and sit on the beach and do business!
