Happy to be proven wrong but I certainly cannot understand how a vehicle that is absolutely identical from the driver’s door forward to the sedan would have different design requirements.

Sounds like random crap made up to try and justify stupidity.

it certainly does seem odd, but perhaps there are different ADR's for light commercials. (even ADR's are illogical a lot of the time) However I dont know enough about it to say either way... any automotive engineers on here?

I thought it was odd myself but Rod Barrett said that they (FPV) argued the toss with the relevent people but because it was a Light Commercial it had different ADRs than the Sedans
