^^^^

Me neither, thanks guys

Haven't been back here for a while, perhaps I should've, but then this thread wouldn't have needed so much 'helpful' input and been far less uteresting.

TTG v UteT, just add water, or bends...smiles either way :freak:

So let’s look at the TT shall we, pay attention you kids down the back there.

Base car;

Same engine as XR6T but with the addition of an engine oil cooler = Score 1 for the terry

HD transmission (stronger than XR6T and F6) = Score 2 for the terry

AWD = Score 3 for the terry

TTG approx 2100 kgs (light for a 7seater SUV with all the fruit) XR approx 1800 kg’s (fat for a sedan with nothing even close to the TTG spec) = Score 4 for the terry

HP potential TT and XR equal = No score

7 seat potential = Score 5 for the terry

Flexibility and function, no contest!! The terry is just as fast off road, wet road, slippery road, snow road, in the mud and even on ice = Score another 6 for the terry, total 11!

Street cred for the homies = Score 1 for the XR

Street cred for everybody else except da homies = Score 1 for the terry, total 12

Performance

XR will run 12’s with a tune and a few bolt-ons on a grippy / dry track = score 1 for the XR, total 2

TT will run 12’s with a tune and a few bolt-ons too but here’s the rub, the terry is just as fast on a dirt road, in the rain, on a rough road, around a bend, with the stick in ‘D’ and one arm out the widow giving the XR driver the bird (all on SUV tyres)………. Nuf said! Terry wins, no contest!

Hey scotty! bout time you turned up.......

And what about price?

XR6 Turbo Auto W/ Luxury Pack $51,990 (Lux Pack equals TTG features)

TTG $65,920.... +$2000 for your precious 3rd row seat

that's a big -15,930 points for the terri. :spoton:

I sell the things man, I know they are an awesome car, but as a performance car they suck in comparison to an XR6T sedan

Price comparisons are for the poor, thus irrelevant here amongst Australia's social elite.

(This being said, I reckon most of the forum-goers have bought the ultra-cheap, second hand, dime-a-dozen $20k XR6 specials, whereas the TT's have held their value a little more. I reckon if Terry's were in the same price bracket (new and second hand) there'd be more people buying and modding them.

My bite: No way they suck as a performance street car in comparison. If you blokes could get your power down, it'd be a different story, but with any more than 250rwkw, you're all over the shop. Get some control, you turkeys.

and XR6 owners know what a giney is, where it seems the majority of TT owners dont........

Proof is in the pudding, why this particular TT owner actually requires seven seats in his performance vehicle. Prior giney related performances and actual versus visual, manual, digital experience. One was even the result of a sand in the giney, crack etc night at the beach. Thinkj Paulie may have been a bit put off by the particularly girly reference, pretty sure he's more likely to wear Boardies at the beach than your mankini finch smugglers.
