If he asks what it is in regards to (which he probably wont), tell him you've been approached by another company and you're going for an interview. He'll respect your professionalism and honesty. If he doesn't appreciate your honesty, he's only going to be sh*tty with you when you leave anyways (as he's clearly not switched on), so the bridge will be burned one way or another.
