Jeeesus! A corner I would have done 60kmh into he was approaching at 160 . No matter, it stopped and went around it sooo easy. It had a heavily worked MGB engine - not massive HP, but the Elfin probably only weight 400kg.Fastest/spectacular - Driving from Port Headland to Mt Newman to Tom Price in a Hertz Commodore - sat on 200 most of the way. Beautiful roads, no other traffic, amazing country.Scariest/most hair raising - Flagstaff to Grand Canyon in a big block Charger with bald tyres in February - black ice in every shadow! Best drive to brush up on my driving skills was in my bro inlaws 440 cortina with a 351 stroker, manual. Only way you could tell it was off its head was the 5 stud wheels, the shortened nine inch and the loudness. Was registered as a 4 cyl and was still a chocoalte brown colour but had the chassis welded etc. f*ck me it was a tyre spinning monster but seemed to be easy to control. Awesome stuff when you pull up next to someone and they look and think pfft piece of sh*t,then your sitting on 120kmh and leave them sideways. I will note before telling this story that this happened when I was young and dumb and do not condone this type of behaviour now that I am older and errr wiser.I had a nice XG S Pack ute and I was drivingh home from Darwin back to pPalmerston one night , rather enibriated, well the the lady friend I had in the passenger seat was keeping my lap warm, with her mouth and tounge. In the tray of the ute was a mate with his back to the rear window of the ute and his lady friend straddling him, she must have been hot this evening as for some reason she had shed all her clothes covering the top half of her body. Now heres me happy from a few beers, a lap that is happy and a nice set of tits bouncing in my rear vision mirror. I was doing everything but watching the road, stuffed if I know how I got home that evening. The things you do when young eh.Scottybwhahaha and guys please note this was memorable for scotty because it was the one and only time he got some awww im sorry lol. you come across so innocent till you posted this Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/49115-most-memorable-drive-of-your-life/page/4/#findComment-858520 Share on other sites

Sleeper6T Member 356 Member For: 16y 7m 7d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 12/04/09 07:10 AM Share Posted 12/04/09 07:10 AM Was up in the country for cousins 21st back when I was 17. Was getting close to midnight and I was feeling like crap and decided to head back to his place, which wasnt that far so didnt bother me having to walk it. Couple of his mates were heading down to the bottle shop as you do and offered me a lift. After about 10 mins of joy riding and feeling uneasy I asked him to pull over and let me out, which he did finally after I said I was going to recover his back seat if he didnt.I walked the rest of the way back to my cousins place, woke up the next morning to be told he had written off his car. Luckily and amazingly the other 2 only a couple broken bones and some bruising, but the car not so lucky. My cousin did a video montage thing for all his mates which has photos of different times in their lives, and between 1.23 and 1.33 in the following link you see the end result. How the driver didnt die they don't know, but the drivers side back seat was obliterated and if I had stayed in the car I would have been aswell.
