Who could forget Fabio and Fonzie in #2 with their American Muscle, against the Crackerjack toys. BTW, I guess not too many of you guys read Hot Rod/Car Craft. Just after Tokyo Drift was released, HT/CC did an article on the "Real" cars. They built about 5, 1967 Mustangs for the Movie!! Only One was Nissan Powered. For the Fast action they used a Stroker Windsor V8 powered Stang, the actual car used in the "Down Hill Drift Race" WAS the V8 Windsor Powered Stang. Naturally the sound effects are dubbed in at editing (as in all movies). They also built about 5 or 6 identical scummy looking Chevelles for various scenes (and destructions). The original Smashed 70 Charger from FF1 was bought at auction by a collector.Of course other 70 Chargers were built, all looking pretty and dandy, for promotional work etc.
