Hey guys,

I have a left over HKS 300mm x 600mm x 76mm cooler (2.5" in and out on opposit sides)from another project (not cheap crap) is there enough room for it in a XR6 Turbo Mk1? As it should be cheaper to get pipes made up rather than buying a full new kit....

thank

G.

It depends on the endtank size if it will fit or not... got a pic of it? or link to one similar

well we had to mount mine infront of the bar reinforcement cuz of the end tanks but it worked out well for me cuz the owner before me seems to have run up the back of somethin causin the bar to pinch in so a normal cooler wouldn fit, we just used the normal cold side with a fabricated pipe off the cooler if im correct haha I prefer it stickin out more anyway :doc1:

We set up this cooler with our High Flow cold side, but had to change and custom make the lower section, and a short section for the hot side to plumb into.

Great flowing and cooling intercoolers, they just take some modifying of the front bar/bumper to fit, and the spotties have to go to make room for the masive end tanks.

Very aggressive look from the front though, very jap/drift looking.
