They also had a XR6 out the front that had just been resprayed in shockwave and it looked sweet much better than the factory paint quality. Also got the pleasant suprise when I was driven to hertz rentals and they handed me the keys to a FG XR6, now I know its not a typhoon but much better than a bloody corolla or something. In and out in 5 working days now. Last month we had 2 sedans, a ute a nd a wagon in at the same time. Gets a bit confusing when you have 4 blue bonnets sitting around, Hmmmmm, which one came off which car?

The pic below was mine yesterday, they have had it for 4 days and said it will be about a 4 weeks, they are stripping back to bare metal by hand. When you do a few of them the process starts to streamline a bit. We usually go pretty hard on them, disassembly/glass out by lunch time, paint off by the end of the 1st day, 2nd day undercoat, 3rd day rub/paint, then assemble, glass back in, buff/detail and out the door looking better than new. We usually try to get them out the door as fast as possible because of the nature of the job you end up with parts and panels everywhere taking up floor space. I'm stoked with the progress its gonna look so much beter than the factory paint which was a little light on, the painter that is doing it has a great reputation for high quality jobs
