I went off at the guy and told him I was not going to drive the car around as it gradually looked worse and worse. the manager at the body shop agreed entirely and advised me to lodge a complaint. called ford customer care lodged a complaint, they will get back to me in a week, next call was to fair trading, they think I have a fair claim and sid if I dont have a satisfactory answer from ford within a week to open the dispute through them, this then goes against the dealer that I bought the car from which I thought was strange as its a factory issue not a dealer issue ( I bought the car from darwin and had it shipped down here) talked to the used sales manager up there, good bloke, he said he couldnt believe ford had taken that attitude "f*&king disgraceful" were his exact words I think, anyways he is going to see what they can do from thier end ... so now I just need to be paitent for a week and hope they come good. if not its on and I have no drama going to court over this as I paid a sh*tload of money for this car and they have let me down with the quality Also on a side note for thoise guys having paint problems after the 3 yr warranty the manager at Kloster body works here in newcastle told me there is a 5 yr warranty on this type of paint defect. I'm gonna push for a full respray though.. (provided they cover it at all, after reading BF_F6Shockwave's story)..

I lodged a complaint with the department of fair trading straight away, I talked to the dealer that I bought it off (in darwin) and they have cracked the sh*ts about it too (not at me , at ford LOL) advised on a few things to do and who to write a letter explainging the whole situation and send it directly to ford. This is becoming a massive pain in the ass but I determined to get it fixed up Has anyone else has this much trouble getting this paint issue sorted?? mine has not gotten anywhere near as bad as some of the others on here but it will be soon the way its going.
