Car was stuttering AND surging under full acceleration, but is all fixed now. My coil packs look sweet after 78k, no tracing at all.Would replace them too but fraud want $166 each for them- a grand for a set! Also on recomendation of a mechanic mate checked the resistance of each coil with a multimeter. Interesting point, he reckons if you give the car a squirt before shes up to temp( on the gauge) ,if it doesn't miss, fart, stutter etc but does once up to temp, then your prob may well lie in the electronics-airflow meter etc that rely on factory preset values untill the engine reachs operating temp when it starts to listen to all its sensors. thanks again for the artical
