I was sick of the floaty ride and the rattles from the front struts so decided to buy/fit a set of resonably priced shocks/struts.

Went with a set of Monroe GT Gas with Reflex Technology (sounds a bit like wank... )

Monroe Website

Part numbers were:

Front: 35-0507

Rear: 15-0512

Well, the floaty ride is gone, car rides heaps flatter and feels better planted on the road.

The ride is a lot quieter.

Heaps less dive under brakes and under acceleration.

Very happy with the result for the amount spent (less than $500).

Hope they last longer then my monroes did on my corona. Same shocks got 5000kms out of them before one blew.

Had them on my Monaro for over 30,000kms and not one problem..
