But just cause 2 went doesn't mean the others will follow. Its really hard to say. turbo06x2 Member 14 Member For: 16y 6m 8d Gender: Male Location: act Posted 19/08/08 10:56 PM Author Share Posted 19/08/08 10:56 PM the car is only 2 years old so I was thinking it is still a baby,but the more I think about the more I think the person that owned it before me did not realy look after itas in the last mouth or so the service center I have been takeing it to has found alot of problems with it, thing that needed to replace I never had to with other cars in the whole time I had them....it is very frustrating the ford did not check all this out when it was traded in and fix the problems before they put it on the lot,this has beed the 2nd time I have got a xr from this ford dealer and both times they have let me down..but what can I say it is an xr6 turbo so you still have to smile Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Little niggly things here and there, but nothing major.Either its just a bit of bad luck, or you've bought a lemon... Hard to tell at this stage I guess...What have you had to fix on it so far? turbo06x2 Member 14 Member For: 16y 6m 8d Gender: Male Location: act Posted 20/08/08 07:57 AM Author Share Posted 20/08/08 07:57 AM there not magor thing but heres the list,left hand swaybar braket(bent right in )ford tryed to blame us for hitting somthing 3 days after we got it, you could tell by the rust it was there for a long time.spark plugs(I was told every 1000,000 km)I get the carbon build up we spoke about last week.ball joints both side(ford told me they had been relaced before 2 days before we got it(my service man replaced them as they were stuffed)top rear control arm(ford also told me that had been replaced)front tail shaft copling (replaced very bad cracks)I no what you are saying is this bloke for real but it just sh*ts me thar ford tells me all this has been checked but it had not so I think I am driving a unsafe car with my kids in it...all this is probably comon things but a 2 year car start me thinking whattha Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
