The car is not having full power dyno runs all the time, the gas has been set up under normal driving conditions first, then when that was correct they start to do power runs, as soon as it shows it was not supplying enough fuel the run would be aborted

Actually my friend there is!!!

Rang them today and they have it running on gas with the same tune as petrol!!! :-)

Not sure on power figures etc yet, but it is on my 16psi tune so it should be pumping out some power...

Doesn't run lean... How did they do it? They are running twin walbro fuel pumps and twin fuel lines...

Ben (@ Australian LPG Warehouse) is putting in some faster flowing injectors tomorrow to see if he can get a nice idle and stop the ECU from having to even out the fuel ratios...

So... The good news for me... It will be running over 300rwkw on 50c a litre gas...

The bad news for everyone else... I dont think they are that keen to put kits together, as they advised it would be too expensive... They have to run different relays in the tank etc etc... and an extra fuel pump... I guess if they had enough interested people they would have to put a kit together?

I will speak to Ben tomorrow and find out how much more it would cost if someone wanted this setup... I guess they know exactly what to do now... :stirthepot:

So what you're saying is, the amount of money you've spent on getting your conversion to gas outweighs the cost of filling your tank with petrol for 12 months thus making it a complete waste of time?

Not quite mate...

Was $2500 out of pocket after rebate for gas install...

Save $70 a week on filling up on a tank of gas...

52 * $70 = $3640

Will take me 8 or 9 months to recoup the $2500...

Keep my car for four more years and save another $14560 than if I had it on petrol... PLUS if I run on 100% Propane gas, it is 112RON, hence produces more power than premium unleaded...

And I could fire two BBQ's now!!! I have twin fuel pumps!!! :spoton:

Yeah, was probably quoting that when petrol was $1.60 a litre for premo...

Now its $1.20...

Costs $100 to fill up a tank of petrol and $30 to fill up a tank of gas... $0.50 vs $1.60
