Waiting for the injectors from Italy...

I will update as soon as I know anything... They also have to try and flow match them to the 42lbs Bosch injectors. Will update asap.

Ok peoples...

Latest update... Upgrading to Bosch 968 42lbs injectors.

They have said they have gas injectors to match the flow rate, so, once I upgrade my injectors, and get a tune, then they will fix up the gas.

Hilbert (I think it is him) wants to oversee it, and will be away till 11th of November, so they will be doing it then. Within 3 weeks I should have a car on gas running 330+rwkw.

Hi people,

I just thought I would give you an update on the Liquid Injection...

I have had changed my injectors from Siemens 60LB injectors to Bosch 968 42LB injectors today... This is in anticipation to the New Liquid Gas Injectors being installed next week to match the flow etc... of the petrol injectors...

The good news... Well, I probably should have used Bosch 42LB injectors for the power I was chasing... It actually ended up increasing my power figure. I went from 335.5rwkw @ 16psi to 351.3rwkw @ 16psi... But this time it doesn't reach full boost until 6000rpm, so its more like 15psi the whole way... until max rpm...

EVEN better news... It idles much better... AND my fuel economy seems to have improved heaps!!! I was getting around 14-15L p/100km with the Siemens... And so far with the Bosch's with the same driving style I am on 11L p/100km... Including stop start driving etc...

So... Hopefully the next time I post in here, it will be to tell you that I am pulling the same power on Liquid and its costing me losts less!!! No more $90 to fill up a tank!

Thanks again to Mick @ PitLane... Top bloke who always comes up with the goods!!!

Cheers,

Worm

Yeah... Unless Chris from Rapids is selling cheap chinese ones, they should be real???? LOL

PIONEER??? Hmmm... more like test dummy... :beerchug:

Costs lots of time and $$$ trying to get this sh*t working... Especially when its all new and they hadnt planned on doing it yet! Modding my car kinda forced em into it... When I booked it in, I had a stock T... In the month wait, somehow it managed to get up to 330+rwkw :playball: Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end... Mick has been awesome... He kinda knows my frustration as he is waiting to get Liquid on his car... The difference is, I have shelled out 1000's of $$$$ and am still driving on petrol!!! :-) But Mick the poor bastard has a tank sitting in the back in his car that they keep trying to steal back off him!!! :-) And it's not to install it on his car...

Anyways... Will keep you updated... and if anyone wants a look at the setup I will be on the December Cruise, so you can check it out then...

The injectors are probably not contributing to the extra power, but possibly just more ideal conditions for the car to make power, ie, the car only had a couple of dyno pulls today rather than lots when the car was tuned, but glad your happy anyway :beerchug:
