Ok... So my car made 335rwkw... Very happy...

BUT the gas is still not working.

REASON: It seems the injectors are not flowing enough gas to match the Siemens 60lb ones...

HOW TO FIX: Car is going to the main man at ALPGW tomorrow so he can look at flowing the injectors at a higher rate... Needs to be done if people wanna go with this sort of system...

Mick @ Pit Lane tried a few different things (man he works hard) to try and get it running, but it just wasn't feasible...

So hopefully I will have more info on Friday night as they will have my car Thursday and Friday...

Cheers,

Worm

Strange... I have always used shell gas... Always... fill up at the same station every time... Had an XE ESP, EA S PACK, EB FAIRMONT GHIA AND AN AU XR8 all on gas and never had a problem with shell... I wonder if it is where you live???

But I was going to move to 100% propane gas, so I will see how this goes...

Good luck mate, I am watching this thread nightly. It sounds unusual that the car does not run. It should at least be running on gas, even if the injector flow rate is incorrect. I would want to ensure that the car idles with the same quality as it does on petrol. I have had an impco vapour system on a BA and it ran same as standard except for some mid/top end power loss. Don't take second best with this conversion.

Can get it to run.... Its just lean...

Injectors need to be flowed more the match my 60 pounders... If we make the gas mixture flow as high as possible, it still gets lean in the top end... Prefer to keep my engine working!

LOL

My liquid system was finished today on my BF and has a minor issue. Apparently when you flatten it from a standing start, the engine has a small miss before it takes off. Some other injectors are being sent up from melb over night to see if they work better.

What petrol injectors are you running? Are they stock... When Mick turned my fuel flow up, it didn't miss, just didn't get enough fuel at high revs...

my engine is stock apart from a k&n filter and second intake. They are trying some other injectors as the kit was make for a BA, but I wouldnt think that would make any difference. Maybe with a new flash tune they could play with the fuel map and get it smoothed out.
