no matter what I did, buy the best wash and mit ect, I still managed to get circular scratches in mt paint work. what I wanna know is how to not get this problem. how do the people with showroom cars keep their paint so mirror finish without a single scratch? iv tried scratch-x to try get them out but nothing works. id love a respray but whats the point when its just gonna happen again. let me in on your little secrets and ill be forever thankful

seriously there is no need for a respray just to get rid of swirl marks!

your best bet is to get a detailer to go over the car with a buffer and a good polish (you can do it yourself if your up to it) swirl marks are generally only quite light in the paint so you shouldnt need to take more then a couple of microns of paint off.

for washing the car, heres a good thread : http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4637

machine polishing... http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=66024

then its just a case of protecting that shine with some good sealant and wax

got pics? if its the typical spider web syndrome what itec suggested is a good bet. It all comes down to how you care for your paint after its been polished and waxed.. you will have a nice looking mirror finish for a longer period if you use the right mits to wash your car with and dry with also..

I recommend as FI will ... a microfiber washing mitt and a microfiber waffle weave towel for drying it :)

lots of good stuff here :

Best thing to do is take it to a professional detailer and get them to take care of it.

Yeah that's the best bet. You can always get it OK looking but not the way the pros do it.

Here is mine after I took it to the detailers :) Well worth the $$$
