I am looking to buy an AU XR6 and doing the BA XR6 T engine swap. Has anyone done it ( I did search for about an hour on here and couldnt find anything), I am only looking to swap the engine not trans etc. However my question is, as far as the electrical and ECU side of things, can you use the AU loom and ECU (obviously with a flash) or do you have to swap ECU's and Looms. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind RegardsJazeIf this is in the wrong section for questions of this nature, please tell me and I will ask a Moderator to move it.Thanks again. I could be wrong so feel free to correct meYou are better off buying a engine complete with the harness and ecu, its easier and you won't be giving yourself a big headache.Cheers

You might wanna keep the turbo gear box as it should be stronger than an AU one

You will have to use an autronics or other after market computer to run it and the boost control. You can just buy a ba and fit the motor for the same sort of cost.
