Do you know where its leaking from? sometimes you get a bad sump casting and that causes whats like a knot in a piece of wood but in the metal. Oil will leak out of this from new. This would be my bet on whats happened. Bad luck though on ya new car, hope its back in good condition soon!

I havent had a good look yet cos I couldnt be bothered jacking it up but it looks like it coming from the back of the sump so I assumed it mightve just been a sh*tty gasket

Well ahd the leak sorted today, turns out it was a dodgy brass washer on the oil feed line to the turbo. All fixed, all cleaned, all good.
