If you want good power later on down the track throw 5k at it now and buy a BF ZF 6 speed.

Yes, with all the cheap BF's available now, I'd stretch for the $$... especially if you have mods in mind

I bought the first car that Kyle sold in his car sales career. Mine is also from Centre Ford.

Most of my dealings were with Nathan though, and kyle was learning the ropes.

You can definately push them down on the price, tell them you want it for X (be reasonable) and you will sign right now.

All I can say is, is that the car you want, or a you settling of a car just because its the only one available in your range?

You will kick yourself in a few months time if you settled, it will be the same with the N/A you bought...

Thanks guys,

I'm not planning on massive mods to be honest - just some small stuff.

South - how did you know? I don't know why I bought that...all the sales pressure and family influence I guess...I like the car and it suits the budget well - it suits everything to be honest.

Robbo - we don't have many BF's going cheap here...Can get an ex chaser for $24 but I'm not interested in that.

^ you got that right iconic...:bangcomputer:

Thanks everyone,

Dan

No way the dealer would have paid more than $15K for it.. I think its an average price.. Remember its an 02 BA, with the rubbery valve springs.. If you gonna do mods later (lets face it its inevitable) to much $$$ to spend

I would say yeah yeah yeah Ill buy it, go in to sign the paper work, just before signing (they start grinning), just make a quick phone before you sign it and say a friend has just found you a BF ex copper for the same money. Go cold on them and walk away. Then lets see if they budge..

Take it for $17500

If the dealer won't budge on price, you could ask to include some extras for free. Like window tinting, slimline weather shields, xr mats, door sill plates, headlight protectors, even bigger wheels, tow bar, whatever your interest. All of those things cost the dealer heaps less that you could get retail and they may have stuff just lying around. Good luck, looks good otherwise.
