It's a 2004 BA I 4 Speed auto with 49,000KM's on the clock. Has S/S ExhaustSS Cold Air IntakeBoost and Oil gaugesTintingSounds system with subs, splits and ampBlue Headlights - Boo-yah!New 17" tyresJust been serviced and FSHRunning a 12PSI tune producing 340fwkw - About 270 at the rears I'd think? Includes flash tunerApparently garaged and used only 98 due to tune...No exterior mods, no optionsI have a couple of questions about it.He's asking $21 and I think this is a good deal. Can't stretch the budet atm due to certain constraints...1) At 270rwkw, will the valve springs start crapping out? 2) Will I have gearbox issues?3) Apparently the tuning was done by APC - Are they reliable or should I take it to XFT to check the tune?4) I've seen a Monza for sale - Would this be worth it with this set-up?Thanks guys, I'm looking at it on Saturday.Cheers everyone,Dan

I guess I was just asking if that would be an improvement if I left it the way it is now...If I left it, would the springs go? And the gearbox?cheers,Dan

I.e. v/springs, strengthen gear box, high flow cat b4 your cooler wud b a problem to your performance..

FPV TRANNY Im the one and only Donating Members 3,557 Member For: 19y 10m 11d Gender: Male Location: In my house Posted 16/10/08 11:10 PM Share Posted 16/10/08 11:10 PM Springs are a bit of a unknown with BA,s.Some crap out early and some dont.Mine lasted about 1 year at 300rwkw untill it started losing mid to top end surge that it used to have.It then started breaking down some times at WOT.Changed them and it reved some much cleaner and more top end power.Auto,s are a bit of a worry in the BA.Mine lasted 1 1/2 years at 280rwkw with no real issues. After that is was a little sloshy in the 1st to 2nd shift.I then got it rebuilt and had no issues again.Just remeber that you play, you pay with these early BA,s.I ran I monza cooler in mine and it was fine with the 310rwkw that it made.Anymore power and I change that and other things aswell..Hope that helps alittle.Darren
