Do you guys use trac control? When it kicked in, it flicked the car back into the other lane...Lucky there was no other cars or I would have hit him for sure.It seems like it causes more issue than it prevents?Couldn't go back today - had someone pass away in the family so now is not the best time, but in all honesty I'd like to go back and try it again. Also going to test drive a private owned T and an XR8 for comparison purposes. Thanks guys - I'll let you know how it goes.Dan

This should change the interior light function back to normal.

But I can't handle 180rwkw atm, let alone 300rwkw.... So I'll have to wait and see....Cheers,Dan
FULLBURNER Member 2 Member For: 16y 2m 7d Posted 14/09/08 08:54 AM Share Posted 14/09/08 08:54 AM Well I pick this thread to ask my questions rather than start another relating to ex police cars. Can those who own one send me pics of the "damage" they have found on thier cars due to the equipment fitted to them buy the cops. Like areas in the boot, carpet, dash and doors. Any holes drilled for aerials etc.YES I am considering buying one and will be asking a mate to inspect and would like to give him an idea what to look for and where to look. I would inspect my self but I live in the middle of no where right now...well all most. So any help would be great from those who know.Dean
Broaders77 Member 73 Member For: 16y 3m 29d Posted 15/09/08 05:22 AM Share Posted 15/09/08 05:22 AM The only internal damage in mine are 2 small mounting holes drilled:Inside the A pillar (next to windscreen), drivers sideBoth sides of the plastic panels in the footwells, andMarks on the roof from some walloper with a big head who wouldn't take his hat off.Cops (and I say this with the greatest respect) seem to have sh*t depth perception: The bumper bars at both ends had been replaced. There was also a small hole in the bottom of the boot from running into a concrete ledge or similar. Also check the underside of the car thoroughly. Median strips and kerbs are less of a barrier and more of a challenge to your average plod** Tongue in cheek guys, relax

Pickles also has inspection reports telling you what damage ect was made. I checked out mine online, flew interstate that night and brought it the next day, that's how good the car looked online. My car had a black mark on roof, cleaned it off, 3 stone chips on bonnet, very small and brand new tyres! oh and drivers seat has some wear from piggy's little gunnie.
