Where Have You Stuck Your Money Lately?

Hey Guys, thought I'd check with some of you to see what everyone is doing in this "uncertin" time when it comes to your savings you have. What have you done with them? is it just sitting in a 7% saver or whatever?

Be interested to know where most of you have decieded on what path you want to go...??

Have any of you invested any money on the Australian Small Scale Board? ASSOB?

I wont recommend any investments as I not a sponser of the site buttttt while your thinking about it why dont you put your funds in a term deposit for at least 30 days till you decide.

Seriously though, I'm just plodding away with an ING account, I put a set amount in every week and just leave it for as long as I can

I've taken some sizable hits in the Aussie stock market, but have been toying with some warrants (puts) that have eased the losses. I'm now chipping back into Aussie shares, as many stocks have been punished well beyond what I believe is reasonable. There are a some fantastic opportunities out there, if you have the balls.

Also continuing with my property investments, but I'm playing it cautious, as I don't want to over gear myself. Lifestyle/comfort is king.

So true there, since you look like you have put a fair amount of money on the asx.. have you looked at this assob website as most of these companies list on the market once capital has been raised and revenue comes in?

I have been putting all my money into a bloody company called Shell. Haven't seen any returns other than smoke at the moment!!

Seriously though I do have some shares floating around that have fluctuated seriously opver the last few years. At one stage I had lost about 33% but have know come back into the positive with about a 10% gain and climbing every month so suppose it's not that bad. Would have been better in a term deposit though.

all my extra coin goes into the til behind the bar !!! but that's never enough nowadays hahaha.

nah ive got some random shares and a managed fund that I tip some extra coin into when I get it.. any cashies etc go on house renos or the holiday savings account ..
