Just by chance I took some photos prior to pickup in their yard a few days ago when it had no plates on it. and when I zoom in you can clearly see the crack so I can at least prove it happened before delivery. Dont know how I missed it myself , was so busy checking every panel for scratches etc. it got overlooked. Realistically should I get ford to fix the crack and put it in writing that if the crack gets to a point where the windscreen needs replacing they will replace it free of charge or should they replace the windscreen now. personally I would think the first option would be sufficient . Any opinions ?.P.S. Otherwise I am wrapped in new ute, so much better/smoother drive than my old BA 4 SPEED.thanks guys

It wouldnt be the first time the dealers have noticed such problems and let the customer drive away with it.I.B.

If it was a cloudy day when I shot the photos it may not have been so clear. Anyway spoke to dealer today and there doesn,t seem like there will be a problem and we will go with one of the options I mentioned above.
