Hello

I need to get some car seat covers for mt BF MK II to stop the children killing my interior.

I called Ford and they only sell some over priced front seat cover $260 front only.

Does anyone have any ideas or know of some good covers for family?

Any advice appreciated.

Dave

Remember that you cannot fit front seat covers to a side airbag equiped car. Look for the Airbag tag on the front seats along the seam edge.

If it is only for the back, get a dog blanket that will cover the whole seat and you can still run the seatbelts through them. I have it in the back with both baby seats on top. Works a treat.

These are nice, custom made to what you want but are expensive.

Maybe just get a quote for the rear only.

Either that or go to the Pet Shop and buy the ones to suit large breed dogs.

Cant go wrong with them :)

Just use a towel or something similar. I got a ford rug that ive got tucked into the back part of the seats. works great and looks good in the rear vision mirror

The side air bags are in the seat itself....when they go off the side of the seat busts open. A seat cover would slightly hinder that process!

Concorde

Like Tab said could hinder the bag should it need to deploy.

After purchasing some covers and then finding the tag when we were fitting them, looked at getting custom covers made but decided against it. The kids have a rug that's firmly tucked over the back seat. Also got a clear protector for the back of the front seats to keep the kids feet off.
