I have done 25,000 K and I reckon I have about 15k left in em.The car is haevy guys and that effects hadling and wear. By thr time yoou put a passenger and your self in it will way over 1600 KG. Its not a light car lads.I based my pressures on the corner weights as I used to when I rallied. They will ne noisy and will squal under 40 on the front. It's great but it definitley depends on the individual and how you drive. Definately not designed to do that speed anywhere except a dead straight road. 12lb boost and bigger injectors gives pretty amazing acceleration from 140 - 240, like three blinks. Sh!!!!!!t who designed the brakes, and the suspension over 200 forget it. :o Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/486-tyre-pressures/page/8/#findComment-79250 Share on other sites

With the 17's I take it you have the standard brakes? This always is the first rational objection I have when considering a Phase 2 Kit - I would have to spring (pun intended) for suspension and brake mods as well. Plus or minus a new auto by the sound of things. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/486-tyre-pressures/page/8/#findComment-79410 Share on other sites

Plus or minus a new auto by the sound of things. I have DBA gold drilled/slotted and run FERODOS, this seems to be a good brake fix and the car stop consistantly well. As for the suspension over 200 it performs as well as standard brakes do at that speed (bloody hopeless). As I said, TIME FOR BILSTEINS, as for the gearbox, I guess that rests in the hands of the Ford God Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/486-tyre-pressures/page/8/#findComment-79470 Share on other sites

Except when I get wet tyres on a smooth concrete car park and spun the wheels without even trying. The traction control couldn't even contain it.......... on dry road however.. its great.my 2 cents worth.
