18s can run the same or even 2 psi higher - on my son's ute I set the tyres at 40 front and 35 rear with the 235 45 17 front and 265 40 17 rear tyres. It works very good , steers precisely and is nicely balanced. Time will tell about any tyre wear problems but I don't expect any. Possibly the rears could come down very slightly if the centres start to show signs of early wear - common with solid rear axle setup.

I have over 46000k's on my tyres and have been running 42psi front 40 psi rear and rotate the tyres front to rear every 15 thou. I check these pressures every week and do a lot of Sydney trafic and country trips.

All of the guys who have BA XR's at the dealer I bought my car from said to run 40PSI cold inflation pressure of course because with the 30 odd the sticker recommends their tyres are wearing badly and increasing it to 40 has made the tyres wear more evenly.

Ok, so in summary ... 17's 42 front, 36 rear, cold, unloaded (driver only, no extra weight) ... right?
