If it is they must have improved from BFs to FG as the fit is pretty good on mine. I talked to the sales man and they dont fit them at the factory anymore on the FG's so yeah they must have got a different supplier then dealer fit it. I got in the tray and loosened all the screws that hold on the hinges while my father in law w moved it as much forward as possible with still keeping it aligned and I now looks 10 times better then before. It took about 5 minutes.I will post the before and after pics hopfully tomorrow.f*ck you ford *beep*. Treay Member 29 Member For: 16y 8m 25d Gender: Male Location: Stockton, NSW Posted 02/02/09 10:28 PM Share Posted 02/02/09 10:28 PM I have only just started looking into finding a mounting kit for my hardlid, I too have the BF lid with the bulge, I think the BF lid is a lot worse fitting then the BA lid, the BF unit just seems out of proportion compared to the BA unit, too think around the edges etc.But thanks to this thread I now know to get the big hinges!!!$900 still seems a tad steep though? - I was talking with stevo from EGR and he said he could hook me up with a lid kit to fit it for $100, I wonder if that was the full sized one or the dodgey one?...
