Hi guys, got most of my niggly clutch gearbox problems sorted at last. When we installed the new clutch setup we torqued all the bolts as per specifications and put lock tight on them BUT somehow a couple of the flywheel bolts came loose which was the cause of all the weird vibration noises I was experiencing. Apparently if these bolts are not 100% correctly installed it is quite common for them to vibrate loose, I'm not sure what else we could of done but all is cool now and this spec clutch is a gem, it is a touch harder to get off the line now because of the extra grip/hold that this clutch has but once I got used to that all was good.

A mate of mine also has the same spec clutch/flywheel setup( stage 2+ ) in his XR6 and he has the chance to buy an old fastback Mustang( his dream car ), so Ive advised him to take some of the upmarket gear off his XR6 before he sells it and ill try to sell them for him. So he has decided to put the standard clutch( only did 18,000k's ) back in, so he can sell( along with lots more good stuff ) the spec clutch which has only done about 1000k's. So watch out for some good deals in the FOR SALE SECTION. Or if anyone is interested in the clutch let me know and ill see how much he wants for it. I know he has pod and gauges and some pretty special one off front seat covers, FPV gear knob and floor mats and more. Should be a couple of weeks before the add goes in but if your interested in any of this gear let me know.

Now that my drivetrain is all sorted its now time for me to get the tune done so off to Extreme Tuning I will go in a couple of weeks, cant wait to see how many more horses I can muster.

I have the plates that came with the clutch, two were put in with the T5, and I have been told all 3 go in with the T56 is this right?
