My t/c was off all night.

Its more fun that way.

Maybe that's why reg bolted away from me on the uphill run to waterfall

Had it been dry, I would have turned it off....but it was raining and after having to drive like a granny for most of the route, but when I got to the causeway.....I figured Id give it a squirt up the hill...... :nyyaah:

Wait till we do it in the dry...... :spoton:

I had it off all night as well, can't stand traction control. Running wider wheels it seems to cut in whenever it detects excessive roll. I just feathered the throttle or shifted earlier if it started to step out. At some stages it had plenty of grip though mashing the throttle in second & not a sign of slippage at all.

I'm used to driving tail happy POS 80's rwd toyotas so the turbo in the wet is very sedate in comparison.

At some stages it had plenty of grip though mashing the throttle in second & not a sign of slippage at all.

My car was the same, sometimes it hooked really well but, especially on the uphill runs like coming out of the dam & heading up to Waterfall, it had all the traction of a dog on lino.
