Your car will "feel" lagger down low (ie less than 2000rpm) as the lower gears take a fair load off the engine down low. The rate of acceleration will make up for this. I had to dial out boost in 1st and 2nd gear to control the wheel spin as it is viscous with 4.09's.

Boost comes on instantaniously in higher gears as the engine builds revs so quick. Shame your not it perth or i would take you for a spin so you could see.

cheers

With the eboost I can use the default low boost settings, so hopefully I wont get caught out.

I can use the high boost to get my rocks off, then set it back low again. Much better this way, as traction control doesn't work.

I will be careful though as it's a big change.

I just hope the 2nd hand centre bought is OK. It looks good.

I went the other way, put 3.46 in and took out the 3.73...

I did this as I was on the limiter crossing the line in 4th at the drags... I tried shifting into 5th and I dropped 5mph... bad idea that extra shift...

plus on the hwy, I get sweet economy...

id say in a manual, its gonna cost you 1/4 mile times by going to 4.1`s as youll def have to shift 5th...

I probably will need 5th if I end up with around the same mph.

I'm still in 3rd with the 3.46 centre so that's an extra 2 changes I can possibly stuff up.

Something to think about
