Your all Welcome,

Great day all round, If I was to sum it up I would say "just right" :spoton:

Some cruising, some eating, some on track action!

Nice to meet some new faces and as always catch up with the "ol ones.

The Sunny Coast Crew (at last we are on the grow), it was a nice change for me to be travelling to the meet and home with local XRT's.

Vixen took out today's Colour war with 3 in the pack.

Special mentions:-

Tabitha (makes a great secretary buried.gif ) and did an awesome job as "Acting" Tail End Charlie.

Howsee007 – for bringing along Alitia with her talent - Fabulous UHF feedback and commentary :spit:

Turbo.Vixen - Kart Winner!! for the spectacular T-bone crash and body roll at turn 7 – you really didn't have to go to so much trouble  (hopefully not too much bruising). Although the safety car was not required for the 3 kart pile up, thanks to Wade who was first on the scene "encouraging" T.V. with laughter

Cooltint – for imparting his life long knowledge of Karting blahblah.gif

Captain "A" (aka Mark) for unintentionally reminding us these cars are meant not only to look good BUT be "DRIVEN" and hard.

ps - there was a secret mission to this cruise. :innocent:

a. testing the "follow the leader" theory - passed

b. Ability to perform synchronised U-Turns - passed with honours

oh yeah!!!

I beat Sutty on the Karts

Yes indeed 'twas a great day out congrats and many thanx to Shazz and Tabitha for providing the route of mostly unchartered roads (pity about the dust though). Looking forward to the next outing.

Just as a side note for anyone who thinks that these cars are too thirsty, I covered 440km today with an average consumption of 11.1lt/100km. I arrived home with a little over a quarter of a tank of fuel left. Admittedly 200 of those km were spent on the highway but the remaining were a mix of spirited driving and a lot of 2nd and 3rd gear twisty bits. All in all a pretty fine effort for a car of this size and power. I'm impressed.

Cheers

Big AL

Surprised by the complete absense of blue ones this round....

crossed my mind to meet everyone at the karts but I havent been up to it... may have been my last chance too... selling off the big girl in the next few weeks

Al, I honestly don't pay that much attention because petrol is vital to my play time.. , but did reset the tripmeter @ caboolture, will have a look tomorrow and let you know.

Yeah it was a great day... My first cruise, and everyone was friendly and I now know theres nothing better than driving through some twisties to the sounds of turbo's spooling up!!

Thanks Phantomchic for organising the day, couldn't have done it without ya. And thanks for the UHF radio too! :censored:

As for fuel consumption... I almost went through a whole tank of 98 RON from Gym.. (sorry... sunshine coast) and back.

Aww I only got 12.1 Lt/100kms with a 300+Kw tune someone must be stealing that extra litre of fuel and some of my tire rubber :censored:

Had a great day apart from having to leave after lunch cause I had to do plumbing work for a mate, karts looked like fun though.

I suppose It would of not been fair with me karting anyway cause I would have lapped everyone at least twice cause They would of followed the leader the wrong way :dontknow:

Just thought I'd let you know her name was Alisha, not Alitia  . Not that it really matters anyways. Thanks everyone for a great day, I'm looking forward to next time!

Would be even funnier watching them all go through the kitty litter too like the leader :innocent:
